How much do you know about sharing your personal information safely?  Every day you will be giving out information about yourself - whether it is your name and address, mobile number, email address, or more personal details -  do you ever think about what happens to that information?

There are some good reasons why people will ask for your information - for instance, an employer may keep your name and address on file until a suitable vacancy comes up.

But, businesses may want your information so that they can send you mail or texts advertising their latest products.

And there are a small number of people who want your information so they can do you harm.

You are in control of your own information - organisations that want your information for safe reasons will ask your permission to collect it and store it.  You should ask them why they are collecting it, how they will use it and who else will be able to see it. If you are not sure whather to give out you personal details - talk to an adult that you trust.

This quiz will give you a chance to test your knowledge about data protection and safe information sharing.

Good luck!
